What's COVID-19 Coverage?

Before You Go

Trip Cancellation: If you contract COVID-19 or are considered as close contact and stay in a compulsory quarantine facility, hospital isolated ward, or a doctor confirms you’re unfit for travel, you’re entitled to Trip Cancellation benefit up to HK$ 40,000.

Smooth Entry: Some countries request travelers to get travel insurance with COVID-19 coverage and the COVID-19 coverage needs to reach a certain amount. FLY Travel Insurance meets the requirements.

During the Trip

Overseas Hospital Cash: Apart from Medical Expenses benefit up to HK$ 1,500,000, you’ll get a daily Overseas Hospital Cash of HK$ 500 (up to the max. limit).

Shorten the Trip: If you contract COVID-19 and stay in a local compulsory quarantine facility or hospital isolated ward, or a doctor confirms you’re unfit for travel, you’re entitled to Trip Curtailment benefit up to HK$ 40,000.

Free Extension: If you need to stay overseas longer than planned owing to COVID-19, FLY Travel Insurance can be extended up to 10-day for free.

Quarantine Cash: Within 7 days of returning to Hong Kong, if you stay in a compulsory quarantine facility or hospital-isolated ward due to COVID-19 contraction on the trip, you’ll get a daily quarantine cash allowance of HK$ 500 (up to max. HK$ 5,000).

Follow-up Medical Treatment: If a doctor diagnoses you need medical follow-ups due to COVID-19 contraction, 90-day necessary medical expenses are covered after you return to Hong Kong.

Terms and Conditions for “YAS x SMARTONE - A Smarter Way to FLY” Limited Offer 

1. By participating in the “YAS x SMARTONE - A Smarter Way to FLY” limited offer ("the Campaign"), the participant hereby agrees and accepts to abide by the terms and conditions of the Campaign.

2. The Campaign Period is from March 1 to March 14, 2023 (both dates inclusive) (the "Campaign Period").

3. To participate in the Campaign, participants must meet the following criteria:

  • Persons aged 18 or above with Hong Kong Identity Card.
  • Participation is subject to acceptance by YAS Digital Limited ("YAS").

4. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with other promotions or discounts, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

5. Each eligible FLY policy is entitled to ONE (1) Free Day when purchasing any SmarTone Multi-Day Roaming Data Pack (“The Offer”).

6. YAS will send an email to eligible users to inform them of the redemption process of the Offer, and eligible users should follow the instructions in the email to redeem the pass within the specified period.

7. SmarTone Multi-Day Roaming Data Pack is provided by SmarTone Mobile Communications Limited ("SmarTone"). YAS holds no guarantee for the provision, management, and disbursement of the services of the Offer. Any claims, complaints and/or disputes arising out of or in connection with the services supplied or default in supplying the services shall be resolved between SmarTone and such customers directly.

8. YAS has the final right to interpret the terms and conditions of this Campaign and has the right to amend or supplement these terms and conditions, terminate or suspend this Campaign or other promotions at any time and from time to time without prior notice.

9. Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A. - Hong Kong Branch(“the Company”) reserves the right to accept or decline any application.

10. In the event of any conflict or discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
