YAS x AlipayHK 「The first cross-border accident insurance in the world」provides coverage for Accidental Death and Permanent Total or Partial Disablement, and offers 20 times the coverage amount based on your accumulated spending in mainland China on Alipay, with a maximum limit of HKD 100,000.

2. If multiple injuries occur in the same accident, resulting in permanent disability, how will compensation be provided?
Should more than one Event occur from the same accident, the company shall only be liable for the Event with the greater Percentage of Sum Insured.

3. What is an eligible insured person?
Customers who use AlipayHK for any payment during the trip in China, can enjoy Accidental Death and Permanent Total or Partial Disablement coverage. Please note that this coverage is applicable to Hong Kong residents only.

4. What is the age limit for the insured person?
The age limit is from 0 to 99 years old.

5. When does the insured journey start and end?
The period of travel commencing from the time when the insured person leaves the immigration counter in the territory of Hong Kong to
1) the time when the insured re-enters Hong Kong from an immigration counter in the territory of Hong Kong, or
2) on 11:59p.m. Hong Kong Time on the coverage end day specified by AlipayHK,
whichever is earlier.

6. How do I file a claim?
Click 'Claim Now' in the AlipayHK YAS mini-app, leave your personal information, and YAS will have a representative contact you to handle the claims process.

7. Can a relative or friend of the insured person file a claim on behalf of the insured?
Yes. In the case of accidental death, a relative or friend can immediately file a claim on behalf of the insured person by clicking 'Claim Now' in the Alipay YAS mini-app, providing personal information, and YAS will have a representative contact you to handle the claims process.

8. What’s not covered?
Any sickness, confinement before insurance starts, self-injury, acts of war, illegal acts, pregnancy, mental disorders, conditions caused by alcoholism or drug addiction, congenital anomalies, disciplinary forces, flying or aerial activities, professional sports or competitions.
